Sleep and Our Teens: Learn more on Tuesday, Nov. 13

Most of our teens have to deal with a lack of sleep during the school year. We already know it makes our kids grouchy and reduces their ability to concentrate. But did you know it also contributes to acne breakouts, exacerbates depression and contributes to stress? Bring your questions for an informative discussion and join us for a presentation by sleep expert Dr. Danny Lewin, Associate Director of Pediatric Sleep Medicine, Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Psychiatry/Children’s National Medical Center and George Washington University School of Medicine.

This program will be appropriate for parents of high school, middle school and college students. Students are welcome to attend with their parents. All members of the community are welcome. We will have the opportunity for students to monitor their own patterns with a sleep log that Dr. Lewin will provide in advance.

November 13th, 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm
Herndon High School Auditorium
Sponsored by the HHS PTSA
Admission is free
